About The Port Of Seward
Seward sits along Resurrection Bay at the edge of the Kenai Peninsula, where the Kenai Mountains meet the sea and Mount Marathon rises directly above town. Founded in the early twentieth century as a railway terminus, it remains one of Alaska's oldest communities and today serves as the principal gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park, with tidewater glaciers, whales, and seabird colonies within easy reach by boat.
