About The Port Of Progreso
Progreso sits on Mexico's Yucatán coast, a low-lying beach town built around one of the longest piers in the world, constructed to reach the deep water offshore. Its wide malecón, seafood shacks, and pale sand give the port an easy, unhurried character, while the shallow Gulf waters stay calm through most of the year.
