About The Port Of Mayreau
Mayreau covers barely four square kilometers, making it the smallest inhabited island in the Grenadines, with a population of around 250 people and no airport to disturb its quiet. Saline Bay, the island's main anchorage, sits on a narrow strip of land dividing the calm Caribbean from the open Atlantic, backed by soft sand and clear, reef-lined water well suited to swimming and snorkeling.
A short walk up the island's highest hill leads to a small church whose vantage point takes in Grenada and St. Vincent on a clear day, along with the color of the surrounding coral reefs.
