About The Port Of Labadee
Set on a peninsula along Haiti's northern coast, this beachfront enclave is reserved for visiting travelers and offers little overlap with the country beyond its shoreline. Framed by green hills and a sheltered bay, it delivers calm, clear water well suited to swimming and simple beach days, with a shoreline long enough to spread out and find a quiet patch of sand.
Because access is limited to the resort area itself, arrival is by tender rather than a dock, and there is no old town or city center to explore nearby. Instead, the appeal lies in the setting: warm water, consistent sun, and a mountainous backdrop that makes for an easy, low-effort day ashore focused on the beach itself.
