About The Port Of Cruz Bay
Cruz Bay is the small, colorful capital of St. John, the least developed of the U.S. Virgin Islands and home to Virgin Islands National Park, which protects roughly two-thirds of the island's coastline and hills. The town itself is compact and walkable, its streets lined with local shops, open-air restaurants, and the breezy courtyards of Mongoose Junction, a cluster of galleries and boutiques built in island stone.
Beyond the waterfront, St. John's draw is its natural beauty: powder-soft beaches, coral reefs just offshore, and hiking trails winding through dry forest and past old sugar plantation ruins.
