ITINERARY

Cannes, France
Your unforgettable yacht cruise begins in Cannes, nestled along the chic French Rivera. Here, you’ll be transferred to your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht and begin your voyage through the Western Mediterranean.  Please book your flight to arrive into Nice prior to 05:00 PM.

Monte Carlo, Monaco
Officially known as the Principality of Monaco, the sovereign city-state of is renowned worldwide for its opulence and glamour, boasting high-end casinos, a yacht-lined harbour, the prestigious Grand Prix motor racing event and exclusive Monte Carlo quarter. This gem of the Côte dAzur is also home to Monaco’s royal household, several museums and numerous cultural events hosted throughout the year, celebrating anything from music and dance to theatre and the visual arts.

Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino, Italy
Welcome to Santa Margherita Ligure, an Italian resort town revealing panoramic views and revered for its timeless elegance and style. For those seeking la dolce vita, you’ll find it in abundance here. Stroll the Santa Margherita promenade, or the pebbly beachfront, admiring the gleaming yachts and sailing boats. Explore a beautiful Baroque church or sample, freshly caught, succulent red shrimps.  Later in the morning, you’ll sail on to Portofino. Set along the Italian Riviera, Portofino boasts a rich gastronomic scene, a picturesque harbour and narrow streets lined with charming, pastel-hued houses, high-end boutiques and seafood restaurants. 

Porto Venere, Italy
Along the Ligurian coast of Italy’s northwest shores, Porto Venere presents an ancient town with a romantic history, thanks to its penchant for attracting famous poets and artists over the centuries. This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts wonderful swimming spots, beloved amongst others, by the iconic poet Lord Byron, who regularly bathed and meditated here in the early 1800s. One of Porto Veneres most striking features is its gothic-style Church of St. Peter, dating back to the 12th century, perched atop a rocky headland overlooking the sparkling sea.

Marina di Carrara, Italy
Early in the morning, you’ll sail onwards to Tuscany and Marina di Carrara. This lovely seaside village is famous for the, pale and premium Italian marble that is mined and quarried from the nearby mountains, used to create some of the world’s most important artistic wonders, such as the iconic statue, Michelangelo’s David. These shimmering mountains of the purest marble contrast beautifully with the coastal scenery of Marina di Carrara. 

Livorno, Italy
Along the western coast of Tuscany, the bustling city of Livorno boasts a modern seaport, but is best known for its scenic beauty, picturesque views of the azure Mediterranean Sea and delicious fresh seafood. The citys culinary scene is not surprisingly heavily influenced by its seaside location, tempting with signature dishes such as cacciucco, a traditional fish stew thats a must-try for every visitor.  

Calvi, France
According to local legend, Calvi, set on the beautiful island of Corsica, is where the intrepid 15th century explorer, Christopher Columbus, was born. While historians may debate this, the natural beauty and rich culture of Calvi is undisputed. Calvis gorgeous beach is a crescent-shaped bay of powdery white sand fringed by maritime pines, while the town has evolved as Corsica’s ‘culture capital’, hosting several music festivals over the idyllic summer months. 

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
After breakfast, set off to explore the dynamic capital of Italy, Rome. In the afternoon, we’ll welcome you back on board your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht for the second half of your journey. 

Positano - Sorrento, Italy
Positano is a picturesque coastal village located on the Amalfi Coast. Renowned for its stunning cliffside views, colourful houses cascading down to the Mediterranean Sea, and narrow winding streets, Positano is often considered one of the most beautiful destinations in the world.  The village features a mix of striking architecture, with vibrant buildings adorned in pastel hues, bougainvillea draping over balconies, and charming shops selling local crafts and goods. Positano’s charm lies not only in its breathtaking scenery but also in its rich history and culture. Here, visitors can indulge in delicious cuisine, including fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes, often accompanied by local wines. We overnight in Sorrento 

Sorrento - Capri, Italy
Sorrento is a charming town located on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Known for its stunning views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, Sorrento is a popular destination for gusts seeking a mix of breathtaking scenery, delicious cuisine, and historical sites. The towns historic centre is filled with narrow streets, lined with shops selling locally made ceramics, limoncello, and other traditional products. Visitors can also explore the towns ancient Greek and Roman ruins, including the Villa Pollio and the Museo Correale di Terranova.  In the evening, we set sail and overnight in Capri.

Capri, Italy
An island in Italy’s Bay of Naples, Capri is synonymous with stunning natural beauty. Turquoise waters and beautiful coves dot the dramatic coastline, and high-end hotels, shopping outlets and fine cuisine attract the rich and famous as they dock in the beautiful Marina Grande. 

Syracuse, Italy
Syracuse is a historic city nestled along the southeastern shores of Sicily, renowned for its ancient ruins, picturesque architecture, and stunning waterfront views.  Syracuses historical centre, Ortygia, is a charming island connected to the mainland by a series of bridges. Stroll through meandering narrow streets lined with Baroque-era buildings, visit the stunning Cathedral of Syracuse, and enjoy fresh seafood at one of the delightful waterfront restaurants. 

Valletta, Malta
Valletta, the capital city of Malta, is a living testament to the Baroque period, with well-preserved buildings, ornate churches, and magnificent fortifications. The city is located on a hilly peninsula, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, and Valletta hosts lively markets and festivals. 

At Sea
Relish the nautical adventure of a lifetime with some relaxing time at sea. Enjoy the lavish comforts of your luxury yacht – slide into the infinity-style pool where the water seems to touch the horizon; ascend to the Sky Deck to drink in panoramic views or relax in the Observation Lounge. 

Itea & Transit the Corinth Canal, Greece
Sail to the waterfront town of Itea, to explore the archaeological site of Delphi, regarded by the Ancient Greeks to be the centre of the world.?   In the evening get ready to pass through the Corinth Canal. Built during the 19th century, it connects the?Gulf of Corinth?in the?Ionian Sea?with the?Saronic Gulf?in the?Aegean Sea.  

Paros, Greece
Paros is one of the prettiest Greek islands in the heart of the Aegean Sea. Its verdant green landscape is adorned with vineyards and orchards laden with citrus fruits and pomegranates. Wander the winding streets of the capital Parikia, to see the quintessential Cycladic architecture and quaint white houses with bright blue doors and window boxes full of blooming bougainvillea. 

Hydra, Greece
Renowned for its stunning natural beauty and historic charm, this picturesque island is distinctive for its rugged terrain, clear turquoise waters, and lush greenery. The main centre, also named Hydra, is a charming and bustling port town brimming with narrow cobblestone streets and traditional, whitewashed buildings adorned with bougainvillea-covered balconies. There are no cars or motor vehicles allowed on the island, making it a peaceful and low-key getaway from the usual hustle and bustle of city life. 

Athens (Piraeus), Greece
Your luxurious yacht cruise concludes in the dynamic Greek capital, Athens, the birthplace of democracy and Western civilisation, where you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return flight home or to continue your holiday.  Please book your flight to depart out of Athens after 01:00 PM.
