Day 2. Nairobi / Amboseli National Park Your safari takes off with a flight to Amboseli National Park. Upon checking into your well-appointed tented camp, meet your expert ranger for an afternoon game drive. Capture photos of some of Africa’s largest elephants with the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. Cap off your day with traditional sundowners as you marvel at views of Africa’s highest mountain in the twilight. (BLD) Elewana Tortilis Camp 2

Day 3. Amboseli National Park Start your day with an early game drive, where you might encounter big cats still sated from their night’s hunt. Keep an eye out for wildebeests, zebras, impalas, and warthogs, and challenge yourself to spot as many of the 300 bird species as possible. (BLD) Elewana Tortilis Camp 3

Day 4. Amboseli / Lewa Wildlife Conservancy Fly to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in the beautiful Laikipia region. Meet your ranger and start exploring the conservancy’s diverse ecosystems. You’ll be delighted by the varied wildlife — 70 different mammals including a thriving rhino population and some 350 species of birds. Be sure to watch for the endangered Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe. Tonight, raise your glass to the views of Mt. Kenya. (BLD) Elewana Lewa Safari Camp 4

Day 5. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy After a thrilling game drive, learn about the conservancy’s globally recognized work. Engage in a project, tour their offices, or meet the tracker dogs while they train. Day 6. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy / Arusha, Tanzania Cross the border with a flight to Arusha, where you’ll be met on arrival. Visit the Shanga Workshop which employs people with disabilities and from underrepresented populations to create jewelry. (BLD) Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge 6

Day 7. Arusha / Ngorongoro Crater Explore the captivating Lake Manyara, where seasonal pink flamingos and approximately 400 bird species grace its shores. Search for the park’s renowned tree-climbing lions and blue monkeys. Enjoy a canopy walk and a picnic lunch before heading to your beautiful lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater. Day 8. Ngorongoro Crater Descend 2,000 feet into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its unique biosphere and diverse wildlife. Watch herds of elephants, prides of lions, leaping gazelles, and numerous zebras and wildebeests. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor as part of your experience. Ngorongoro Crater / Serengeti National Park Continue on to the great Serengeti, the “endless plains” in the Maasai language, where more than 2 million wildebeests, half a million Thomson’s gazelles and a quarter million zebras gather for their annual migration. Day 10. Serengeti National Park Set out early for your first game drive of the day and capture stunning images as the morning progresses: a lioness resting after her hunt, vigilant elephants protecting their young, and herds of wildebeests grazing alongside zebras and gazelles.
