In the evening, dine beneath the thatched roof of the outdoor boma and gather around the fire to share your day’s adventures.
Arrive at Wilderness Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp, a remote haven in the Kunene Region. Settle into your elegant tented suite and absorb the vast desert views. In the afternoon, head out on a relaxed game drive, where desert-adapted elephants, giraffes, and oryx may appear against the stark landscape. The day winds down with sundowners on the dunes and a starlit dinner beneath Namibia’s legendary night skies.
Set out on a full-day excursion to the Skeleton Coast. Travel by 4x4 through the Hoanib River Valley and surrounding floodplains, passing Klein Oases Spring and dramatic dune fields along the way. The journey reveals a stark and beautiful coastline of shipwreck remnants and vast Cape fur seal colonies. After a picnic lunch, return to camp by scenic flight, offering a sweeping aerial perspective of the landscapes crossed during the day.
