Day: 1
A maze of pretty waterways, coffeehouses and museums brimming with Golden Age masterpieces: Amsterdam is one of Europe’s most unforgettable capitals, its cool, laid-back collage of districts stitched together with cobbles and canals. On arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. Later, gather for a welcome dinner.

Set out on a private canal cruise and guided walking tour that reveals the history and architecture of this fascinating city. Board your river ship with priority embarkation and time to unwind in your premium cabin or suite before a welcome cocktail and dinner.

Day: 3
Arrive in Arnhem for an excursion to the Kröller-Müller Museum, home to the world's second-largest Van Gogh collection. Visit the Hartenstein Airborne Museum and nearby war cemetery.

Day: 4
Embark on today's remarkable excursion, seeing the Watersnoodmuseum and stopping in the charming village of Veere. Later, attend a private, pre-dinner cocktail party in the ship's Amadeus Club, followed by an exclusive Chef's Highlights dinner.

Day: 5
Dock in Ghent, Belgium, and take an excursion to medieval Bruges, where you have a delicious lunch of moules-frites (mussels and fries). Return to bustling Ghent for a walking tour and view Van Eyck'sThe Adoration of the Mystic Lamb.

Day: 6
Start your day on a sweet note, partaking in a hands-on Belgian chocolate workshop, learning how to make your own mouthwatering pralines to sample and take home with you (if they last that long). View four magnificent Rubens altar pieces at the Antwerp Cathedral, admiring these richly detailed religious paintings by the Flemish Baroque master. Return to your ship and later gather for dinner.

Day: 7

Back in Amsterdam, disembark to drive past tulip fields en route to a private flower grower. Meet the family who runs this farm and have lunch ashore. Pay a visit to the Museum Mill and then climb to the ridge for a peek inside, admiring the gears and other fascinating mechanisms at work. Afterward, taste local cheese near Edam. Tonight brings a gala dinner on board your vessel.
